D ConcierAI Done 1.7

ConcierAI, a Wonk Enterprises business, was born of this realization. The thesis is to cater to the rich customer that chooses to act like a spoiled brat.

The plan was to have them primarily interface with concierge chatbots and every couple or single would be assigned a robutler for their adventure.

The slogan of the business, "See the world as AI see it."

Guy, we put a little sizzle in coffee, we give the personal touch at Backcomb, even more at Bestow, but this is unique. The chatbots need to be programmed to flatter. It's basic brain science, The area of the brain known as the striatum is activated when a person is rewarded a compliment. And it's addictive, they want more. This is how you sell them on repeat business.

What about a loyalty club?

That's brilliant Guy, you sure you're a geek, Wonk said laughing. Addicted to luxury, welcome to the club. I like it.

If, we can pull ths off. it's a marriage made in heaven, a virtual concierge, attentive spas, coupled with an on demand air service, exclusive tours, shows, restaurant experiences, over-weekend stays at quality resorts and we are looking at an 80% solution. You can’t buy happiness, but you can buy a memorable experience from Wonk.

There are a number of businesses that cater to billionaires, but not millionaires. Of course if you want to stay at a resort, fly first class, eat at a fine restaurant, each will gladly accommodate you. But as we near the end of the gilded age, the personal service offerings are focused on the top 1% of spenders. For the rest of us there is OpenTable and TravelAdvisor, fine web sites, but focused on their specific problem domains and a bit shy in the flattery department.

There was, Wonk felt, a market for the top 5 – 10% of spenders, people that chose to save money by flying business class on international flights instead of first class. And he was pretty sure he could deliver, premium, but not top dollar, offerings with an AI’s personal touch if he could bring the right businesses together. The problem is they are all individual, discrete, businesses. Relationships need to form, information needs to be exchanged, to put it simply, they need to work together. In the past there was no standard way to do it. Today there is a solution; like most cults of credibility, it has good points and bad.
