Traveler goes to the Kilauea Farmer's market hoping to see Leilani. He does, they are both shy, but talk and go on a picnic later.
She meets Cody Boy and they are able to communicate. The three of them seem meant to become a pack. Traveler takes her home and meets Mongo.
Madagascar, the issue of invasive crawfish and differing priorities of the Lemrats and humans. A negotiated settlement beneficial to all parties is reached.
Yolanda and Traveler parlay vis Presence. Yolanda is interested in increasing the fortifications around Depository II.
Leilani wakes Traveler up and tells him he has an art day at Poipu.
Fortia comes to visit Wonk in his office. She tells him that she knows about his past loves, she can deal with that, but if he is serious about her, now is the time.
Wonk processes the request, comes up with an engagement ring and asks her to marry him.
Leilani and Traveler go to a poetry slam. Traveler writes a poem. As they walk to Traveler's house in the rain he begins to open up about who and what he is. Leilani is glad to learn the reason he hasn't tried to take her to bed is that he is a Christian, she was beginning to wonder if he was gay. She meets Eve.AI. Traveler explains he has to go to Green Bay.
She tells him she is keeping Cody Boy till he gets back.
Frank Benin and Dorothea go on a work/date to install a HNMNBie library node at the privatized Camano fire station.
Leilani takes Traveler out on a sailing canoe from Waipa.
Back at Wonk's office, he and the AIs plan the bulk of the wedding in 45 minutes including 3 weeks honeymoon in French Polynesia. Wahine.Kapu'u.AI volunteers to shadow the AI captains of self-drive boats to gain local knowledge.
