En Plein Pad 1.11
Wake up Traveler, soft voice breathing a charming wake up directly to the deep sleeping young man.
Have you ever felt the brush of a woman's hair on your face as you are rising into consciousness? There she was, out of focus, he blinked. Better.
Hey Leilani, good morning, it's still dark outside?
Up, up, atom ant, we are going to take an art class in Poipu.
Poipu, that's South shore?
And you have a private self-drive, so while it drives, you can drink coffee.
OK, toss me a shirt.
Leilani walked to Traveler's closet. Here's a long sleeve linen one, no surprise there, shaking her head, we'll be out in the weather today. You'll need a hat.
Where are we going?
Art class. Giorgio is teaching an En Plein Pad course, limited to six easels, I nailed two of them.
En Plein Pad? Giorgio?
He is one of the founders of the Inceptionist school of art, we are lucky to get a spot. People's reactions to Inceptionism the first time they experience it is very dramatic; they either love it or they hate it. If they love it, they will always love it. If they don't, they may learn to appreciate it, but it will never become part of their soul. But don't listen to me, everything I know, I learned from watching Pretty Woman 30 times. Anyway, I cut up some fruit and young coconut, so you won't starve let's go.
On the way over, Traveler put on Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue.
You listen to the United Airlines theme song, on purpose, she teased.
Keep listening.
As they passed Gaylords, she put her hand on his arm, you were right, I just had an eargasm.
Traveler shook his head and smiled.
The scene at Shipwrecks was a contrast of the beauty of nature and the latest in digital image manipulation. I can see why it's limited, Traveler said, carbon fiber easels, Picasso digital pads, HoodWink screens for the sun, (or rain).

Inceptionism, is simply merging one image's characteristics with one or more additional images. Giorgio, explained the idea was to use the pad's cameras to shoot the setting and apply a digital transformation. In addition to the incepting software, GIMP 5.23.9 was loaded for any final touches.
Leilani did the overall scene, ocean and rocks with with a Japanese line painting as her filter.
Traveler took some shots of the Poipu petrographs at the restored Heiau and used Nami-ura, (the great wave), as his filter. Their stuff was as different as the sun and the moon, but the group was convivial and yet willing to give the neophyte couple a bit of space.
It was, Traveler would recall more than once, a fine day.
