HNMNBM Party

Wonk said, may I ask your gorgeousness a question, what is with the HNMNBM sticker on your Polaris?  What does HNMNBM mean? Where do they come from, who is behind it, earnestness bouncing off the walls of the lodge, courtesy of the frenetic young man. So far, all I know is you and Gloria are associated with it and you are both very interesting people. He rolled the "r" in very to accent the word.

Yolanda smiled between half closed eyes, shrugged. I was at a party, invitation only, they were sitting on a table; I grabbed one. Nobody there really needed an indoctrination, we were there because we could see our country spiraling down into a strongman government at full tilt; just didn’t have a label for us.

The political power in our country was concentrated on a shrinking ruling class that was fully aware dinner was almost over and someone was going to get stuck with the check. The were caught up in the #ME movement, grabbing money fast as possible, but there was something else. Fame! They wanted the full Kardashian effect, model, actor/actress, entrepreneur, socialite, and star of a reality show. Gives live life out loud, a whole new meaning. 

And that's what this freshly minted man, my godson, whom you met this afternoon, teased out the core idea. Don't speak of them at all. If they cause mayhem in their quest for attention, then give them social isolation, shun HNMNBM, (His/Her Name Must Not Be Mentioned).  

 In that Sheraton ballroom, Traveler picked up a guitar and sat down on a high stool on a low stage facing his guests and started the first few riffs of Alice's Restaurant. It was clear that he had practiced for this moment as much as Julia Walters did for Mamma Mia. They don't hand that Arlo Guthrie blend of finger picking, singing, and story telling out easy.

He substituted has own words for the draft part,  he kept the words, "One person, just one person does it they may think he's really sick." and works his way up to, "Fifty people a day walking in singing a bar of Alice's Restaurant and walking out. And friends, they may think it's a movement."

Citizens that hum a bar of Alice's Restaurant and walk out whenever a HNMNBM was mentioned in conversation. Peaceful protest. 

Many of the invitees that night were the personality type otter, fun loving, but also natural influencers. The idea caught on, flash mob on steroids.

But Traveler wasn't finished. There was a room 1/4 the size of the ballroom, the air walls opened. He stood up, opened his arms.

For anyone that is interested I put Old Trinity Church of Raymond WA, (OTCR), into a non-revokable trust, to be a non-denominational place of meditation and study. And also,

use it as an anchor point for the only intentionally small Initial Coin Offering named in honor of Alice and her husband Ray.

Traveler could see he was losing the group, they were so over blockchain.

But you will get a lifetime subscription to the church's news service which does not cover HNMNBMs, but focuses on useful, applicable, information.

NOTE: Actually there was one exception to that, the coin was setup and trustmarked by Controller, who was also a member.

Wait a minute, Wonk waved his arms. You didn't pick up a bumper sticker, you were one of the instigators!

That's usually the case my dear boy.

So is this a secret society, and what do you call yourselves?

HNMNBies. And we aren't a secret society, at least not yet.  But we don't hum Alice's Restaurant anymore. That may be what we need to do, though we are careful what information we make available for the world to see. If you talk to older people, they feel free speech is important. Younger people seem to feel that certain speech should be controlled. When in doubt, HNMNBies don’t speak. We have several beliefs.

1)    Don’t feed evil. Despicable men and women feed off, attention, riches, resources, and often, horrendous acts. Words are power, they energize the base. HNMbies try not to speak or write about really sick fucks. Being one of us means some things are never spoken or written. Other things are encrypted. We spend our money in ways that don’t make HNMNBMs richer. It’s difficult, slippery slope; the lesser of two evils comes up in a heart beat. We avoid the obvious, try to thrive in an imperfect world.

2)    Support second chances. That is really a Blue Circle idea, but it resonates with HNMNBM. The fastest growing population globally is disposable people in the process of being ground into oblivion. Islanders whose homes are sinking due to climate change, opiate additicts, youth suffering the nerves problem. We can’t save them all; we can do more with the young, hence Up and Out, but the loss rate and cost is high. If our programs save you, pay back AND pay forward is expected, built into the program. Flip side is you get a life as opposed to drowning in a king tide, or overdosing on a sidewalk.

3)    The cyberspace manifesto by John Perry Barlow is one of our guiding documents and the reason we distrust the deep state and value our privacy.

4)    Trust your higher power. Live your life under the auspice and guidance of a higher power. Basically, come to the realization you are not God, so don’t act as if you are. 

The 4th tenet has been a bit sticky, the Christians, including Traveler and Gizmo aren't comfortable referring to God that way. But more members support it than not, so that's the way it is. Traveler started it, but Gloria, Angelica, and I run it. We do a few other things as well, nearly indiscernible nod, for example, blend in when we can. We teach ourselves to ALWAYS plan your exit; did you notice the path to the car when you took Ahuva for a walk?

Muy bueno, Yolanda grinned. The RennSport 4 next to it is mine as well. May not be the fastest ship in the galaxy, but she’s a classic 1%er for sure.

Yolanda laughed. I’m a business women. Mostly acquisition investments. I pickup assets cheap and put back on their feet. I specialize in difficult areas. I am looking for something as a flagship, just had some fortunate sales and don’t want to leave money on the sidelines too long. What else, one more?
